After treking through a warm afternoon around the city, I turn the corner and Tah Dah!! I finally see this famous landmark of Beijing: Tiannemen Square.

Another look at the competitors walking at the start of today’s individual semi finals.

All the 20 competitors line up and take a stroll down the front of the stands.  There’s a 14 year old boy from Great Britain there..... and he made it to the finals. WOW!

I can’t believe it.  This is the closest thing to getting an autograph of Micheal Pelps!  A photo of his autograph.  I’ve checked with Marc the sports reporter with Straits Times and got word that Micheal is back in the US:(

Tell you the Chinese are crazy about table tennis and these girls are dah best in the game.  Watching them play makes you want to try it at home but… don’t ....ok… don’t....

The medal ceremony.... yes it was an “All China” affair but just for this Olympics. Singapore’s going get her day on the podium next time.  yeah!

The Peking University Gymnasium is where all the Table Tennis action happens.  Its the day of the finals and even though its one hour to the finals the fans are already swarming in.

I clear Customs; hunted the Beijing Airport high and low and when I do finally get on the bus to the Peninsula Hotel.... who do I see happily seated with hubby beside?  LAVINA LOPEZ!

Just off the SIA flight and am getting to know the Manulife peeps I’ll be experiencing the Olympics with for the next 3 days.  Where’s Lavina Lopez our contest winner?  Am still looking for her.... and where’s Kobe Bryant?
